They shared a dream, to offer affordable hosting, while still being able to maintain a high level service and support. Now they are a huge hosting company, offering great plans to their users and great support, for what Interserver earned a lot of award and testimonials.
Their plans offer choices between a single core with 1 Gigabyte of memory for 6 $/month up to 4 cores, 16 Gigabytes of memory for 96 $/mo. Interserver’s VPS services are cloud based, with the option to go for Debian 7, Centos 7, Ubuntu 14.04, Archlinux, Windows 2012 R2, Windows 2016, Cern Linux, Funtoo, Gentoo Linux, Openwall, AltLinux, Suse, Scentific, Fedora, Open Suse or Slackware for operating system. They offer nice upgrades for your plan, but no trial period or money back guarantee, except for shared hosting. You can also find plans for shared hosting and dedicated servers in addition to collocation services with their data centers.
Their support features 24/7 email system and support, and they also have a community forum and knowledge base to help you in any way. VPS servers can be found in Seacaucus, NJ and Los Angeles, CA. This might seem a relatively tight geographical coverage, but visit them to see if they might be what you are looking for. Users’ feedback is really good, quite suprisingly there are no negative reviews.

For 26,99 EUR/month you can get the top plan, with 10 cores (Intel® Xeon® 4114, E5-2630v4 or E5-2620v3), 50 GB RAM, 1200 GB SSD disk storage and 1 Gbit/s port. You can order any number of domains for all of the plans, and you only pay for 11 month if you choose a 1 year billing cycle. They offer plans with premium hardware with affordable prices. Contabo’s customer support is available from 8 AM to 11 PM (UTC+1) on any day of the year. You can contact them by phone or e-mail. They took the third place only, because the missing 24/7 support and they only have datacenters in Germany.

A2 Hosting was opening a developer-focused solution to the public, when it was founded in 2003. They were one of the first to introduce php5 and Ruby on Rails in the shared hosting platform. A2 Hosting is really letting the developers work free with implementing new solutions as soon as they can and offering a free server rewind backup. Since January, 2013 they are hosting on SSDs and since November, 2016 they are offering Windows as an option as well.
They offer VPS plans from single core with 512 MB RAM for 5.01$/month, up to 4 core with 4 GB of RAM for 33.01 $/month. You can choose from managed and unmanaged options, as well as for the operating system you can either go for Linux or Windows. They also offer plans for shared hosting and dedicated servers.
If you need support you can post a ticket, use the live chat or call them on the phone, also there are FAQs, guides and a knowledge base to help you setting up your site. They have data centers at Michigan, Amsterdam and Singapore. The users’ feedback is great about their support.
