Hello, I want to input VPS in Japan for youtube uploading. How can I make this?

    • Kristóf 4 years ago

You will need a VPS with a GUI installed, connect to your server, upload your video from your PC and when it is finished, upload to YouTube from there.

You always need to upload your video to your VPS first. If you have a powerful server you can upload the raw material and edit it there, but usually it will be faster to edit yourself and upload the edited video to the server. The common bottleneck will be your upload speed, since you will need to upload something in every case.

The main question is will it be worth it to upload first to your server and to YouTube from there, or will it be faster if you upload directly?

Google “How To Set Up SSH Tunneling on a VPS”. After you setup the SOCKS tunnel, download a proxy switcher for your browser and configure it so any traffic to a Japanese domain (.jp) is sent through the tunnel. This will re-route the traffic from your PC through the VPS and out to whatever Japanese web sites you want to visit.
