DreamHost review

In 1997 four friends with a love of technology, open-source software, and a strong desire to help people get online banded together to create DreamHost. Built on open-source technology with a commitment to customer success, DreamHost provides domain registration, web hosting and cloud services to 1,5 million sites, blogs and applications, and supports over 400.000 web designers, developers, content creators, small businesses and entrepreneurs with the power of the Open Web.

The company and the servers are located in Brea, USA. They created in their labs their own opensource software, to make cloud services more powerful, and they are home to over 750.000 WP installation.

Support and other features

DreamHost guarantees you 100% uptime and 24/7/365 tech support via live chat or e-mail. They have a staff with expertise in WP hosting, with great solutions to make it very easy for you, to create your WP site. The user’s feedback is great about their service and support, hopefully they go worldwide in the future, so we could recommend DreamHost not only in the U.S.

In this Dream Host review we found that they offer plans with premium tech support and competitive pricing, but sadly the data centers are only in the U.S. and there are not a lot of plans to choose from.

We are participating in Dream Host’s affiliate program, but that does not affect any ranking or facts. We always give our own, honest opinion in our DreamHost review.

Pros
  • good self-developed solutions
  • premium tech support
Cons
  • only in U.S.
